do they tend to feel weaker on cold/wet days? My mum is like that on account of arthritis pains 😕

the more the merer, I guess 🤔

I completely understand what you mean about the look of the Lenovo display, though. Unless you go with one of the higher end Carbon models, they’re all pretty blah. They do not scale nearly as well as a Mac, either.

I use my notebooks at their highest resolution at all times. Same with the pair of external monitors, which both run at 4K. That said, people have long complained that the letters on my screens are too small for them. I fill the screens with interfaces to accomplish complex goals, so having as much real estate as possible is important so that I’m not swiping endlessly between screens 🤐

yeah, I can’t handle “Full HD”. It’s much too low quality, particularly when reading Japanese characters. I dislike pixelation so much. If the screen is not 4K at a minimum, I’m not interested.

Mind you, I understand that not everyone has the luxury of better screens or comfortable keyboards. Sometimes it’s best to make due with what we have 🙂

low quality screens are deal breakers for me. It’s one of the reasons the work-supplied W541 became a “server” almost immediately. It’s powerful as heck, but the display gives me headaches if I look at it for more than a few minutes 🤐

Surrogates is an interesting movie. I enjoyed that more than the Die Hard movies 🙂

depends on whether you like Bruce Willis’ movies or not. There is a clear formula that is replayed in each instalment, but they’re enjoyable if you don’t try to analyze them to any deep level 🙂
