China’s Communist party is intensifying religious persecution as Christianity’s popularity grows. A new state translation of the Bible will establish a “correct understanding” of the text.

The separation of church and state is important. This new translation of the Bible and the persecution of Christians will likely encourage more people to seek out authentic Christianity being taught and discussed in home kitchens. When the Romans tried to wipe out Christianity 2000 years ago, their efforts backfired.

There will be candles lit in the windows for those who seek knowledge, even if they later choose to not enter the fold.
