'Logging scars' blight up to 25% of formerly logged areas presenting problem for Canada which partly relies on forests to capture carbon

This is so misleading that it’s absurd. There is more forest in Canada today than at any point in the last 150 years. The “scars” they’re talking about are paved and unpaved roads.

I do not deny that our climate is changing. I do not deny that the pollution we’ve spread across the globe is an unfortunate consequence of progress. I do, however, deny news organizations the privilege to lie like fuck to push an agenda, regardless of how “good” it might appear on the surface.
