@variablepulserate who is “they”? We don’t use nickel cadmium batteries anymore. Lithium ion does not have the same charge/discharge issues … unless the computer is used for gaming and/or video editing. When the battery goes from not being used often to draining at its maximum rated capacity, that can begin to take its toll after a handful of months 🤐
